Making The Offer
Your Realtor® will probably use a standard form, approved by the local Board of Realtors®, to write up your offer on a particular property. You should have reviewed this in blank form with your Realtor® to prepare for defining your terms and conditions clearly and precisely. The price you are offering to pay is just one of many factors. You may want to have an attorney review your offer before your Realtor® presents it to the seller.
After your offer is accepted, order any inspections you have requested. You can also start shopping for a homeowner's insurance policy. Your lender will require proof of coverage before closing the transaction.
